Twenty thousand channels is great until kickoff is in four minutes and you are scrolling. Here is how the sports side of the list is organized, and how to set things up so game day takes two clicks.

Where everything lives

Channels are grouped by category. The groups that matter for US sports fans:

  • USA SPORTS: the national networks. ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, CBS Sports Network, NBC Sports, NFL Network, and so on.
  • USA NFL / USA NBA / USA NHL / USA MLB / USA MLS: league-focused sections with game feeds and team channels.
  • USA NCAA and B1G: college football and basketball, conference networks included.
  • USA ESPN+ and ESPN PLAY: event-by-event feeds for games that are not on regular TV.
  • USA FOX, CBS, NBC, ABC: your local affiliates. Sunday afternoon NFL games air here, so find your city.
  • PPV LIVE EVENT: boxing and fight nights.

You can search all of these on the channel list right now, before ordering. Try "NFL", "NCAA" or your city name.

Set up favorites before the season

Spend five minutes once and save yourself the scrolling:

  1. Open Live TV and go to USA SPORTS.
  2. Long-press (or press the menu button on) each channel you watch: ESPN, FS1, your local FOX and CBS.
  3. Choose Add to favorites.
  4. Next time, open Favorites first. Everything you care about is in one short list.

TiviMate users can go further and build a custom group called "Game Day" and pin it to the top.

Watching two games at once

TiviMate Premium has a multi-view mode that shows several channels on one screen. Each window counts as a separate stream, so you need a plan with enough screens. A 2-screen plan covers two games side by side.

A note on picture quality

For fast motion, frame rate matters more than resolution. A smooth 60 fps HD feed often looks better than a choppy 4K one. If a game looks jittery, try the FHD version of the channel, and turn on "match frame rate" on Apple TV or Nvidia Shield.

Before a big game

Restart your streaming device an hour before kickoff. It clears memory and avoids the classic "it was fine all week and froze during the fourth quarter" problem. If anything looks wrong, message us early. Support is busiest during the game itself.
