Before you start
- A Firestick or Fire TV connected to Wi-Fi (5 GHz if your router has it)
- Your IPTV Extreme login from WhatsApp
- About 1 GB of free storage. Check under Settings > My Fire TV > About > Storage
Step by step
Install the Downloader app
From the Fire TV home screen, go to Find > Search and type "Downloader". Pick the orange app by AFTVnews and press Download. It is free.
Allow apps from Downloader
Fire TV blocks outside apps by default, so you need to switch this on once.
- Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options > Install unknown apps.
- Turn Downloader to ON.
- No Developer Options? Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About, then click your device name 7 times. The menu appears.
Enter the Downloader code for your player
Open Downloader, click the URL box on the Home tab, type the code below and press Go. The player downloads and an install screen pops up. Press Install, then Done.

272483(cable-style guide, great for sports fans) - Downloader will ask if you want to delete the installer file afterward. Say yes, it frees up space.

Sign in with the details we send you
Right after you order, we message you on WhatsApp with three things: a username, a password and a server URL. Pick "Login with Xtream Codes API" (sometimes just called "Xtream Codes") and type them in exactly as written.
- Any name works in the "Playlist name" box. Most people type "IPTV Extreme".
- The server URL starts with http://. Keep the port number at the end if there is one.
- Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive. A capital letter in the wrong place is the most common sign-in error we see.
Let the first load finish
The first time you sign in, the app pulls in live channels, movies, series and the program guide. That takes one to three minutes depending on your connection. Leave it alone until the progress bars are done.
- Open Live TV, pick a category like "USA SPORTS" and start any channel to test.
- Star the channels you watch most. They land in Favorites at the top of the list.
Put the app on your home screen
Hold the Home button, choose Apps, highlight your player and press the Options (three lines) button. Choose Move to front. Now it sits next to Netflix and Prime Video where you can find it.
Older Fire TV Stick (2nd gen, 2016) models can struggle with 4K channels. Stick to HD versions of channels on those.
If Downloader says the code is not found, type it again slowly. The URL box sometimes keeps a stray character from the last search.
If something goes wrong
Picture freezes every few minutes
Restart the Firestick by holding Select and Play together for 5 seconds. If it keeps happening, switch your Wi-Fi to the 5 GHz band or try an Ethernet adapter.
"Invalid username or password"
Retype the details with no spaces at the end. If you copied them from your phone, autocorrect may have capitalized the first letter.
App installs but the channel list is empty
Go to Settings inside the player and press Refresh or Reload playlist. Still empty after that? Message us and we will check the line on our side.
