IPTV Extreme on Android TV & Google TV

Before you start

Try Google Play first
Open Google Play (on Google TV it lives under Apps) and search for TiviMate or IPTV Smarters. If the app shows up, install it and jump to step 4.
If it is not in the store, install Downloader
Search Google Play for "Downloader by AFTVnews" and install it. Then allow it to install apps: Settings > Apps > Security & restrictions > Unknown sources > Downloader ON.
- On Google TV the path is Settings > System > About, click Android TV OS build 7 times to unlock Developer options first.
Enter the code
Open Downloader, type the code in the URL box and press Go.

Add your playlist
In TiviMate choose Add playlist > Xtream Codes. In Smarters choose Login with Xtream Codes API. Enter the server URL, username and password exactly as we sent them.
Let the first load finish
The first time you sign in, the app pulls in live channels, movies, series and the program guide. That takes one to three minutes depending on your connection. Leave it alone until the progress bars are done.
- Open Live TV, pick a category like "USA SPORTS" and start any channel to test.
- Star the channels you watch most. They land in Favorites at the top of the list.

TiviMate is free to install. Some extras like recording and multiple playlists need TiviMate Premium, which is sold by the app developer, not by us.

On Nvidia Shield, set Settings > Device Preferences > Display & Sound > Match content frame rate to "Seamless only" for the smoothest sports.

TiviMate shows channels but no guide

Go to Settings > Playlists > your playlist > EPG and press Update EPG. It can take two minutes the first time.

Buffering only in the evening

That points to a busy home network or ISP throttling around prime time. Plug in Ethernet if you can, or ask us about a VPN-friendly server.
